Q- What weight can the magnets hold?
A- Most of our items hold up to 200g! Our leachie range holds up to 500g but some of our smaller mourning gecko items hold 140g. All weights per item are in the listing descriptions!
Q- How's best to clean the items?
A- Warm soapy water and a rinse . Allow to dry fully before returning to the enclosure. DO NOT use hot or boiling water. These are not Dishwasher safe.
Q- How long is turnaround?
A- Delivery can be between a few days or up to 10 working days, This can vary depending on current work load but we will always aim to keep you in the loop with order progress!
Q- What's the difference in magnet case size?
A- The slim magnet case allows you to put items on the sides of tanks even if you have tanks side by side! this opens up lots more opportunity for people with tanks together to use Amphibipod products not just on doors!
Q-Suction cups. Suitable Surfaces and General Application Tips.
A- 1. Fix suction cups dry, to clean, flat, smooth, slick/shiny, non-porous, non-textured surfaces like glass, mirrors, glossy plastic, glazed ceramic tiles, car bodywork etc. Always test suction cups are suitable before hanging valuable or fragile items.2. Make sure the suction cup is clean and free from debris.
3. If the suction cup needs to be cleaned, wash in warm soapy water, rinse, then dry gently with a lint-free cloth.
4. Clean the surface you are applying the suction cup to with soap and water. It won't adhere well to a dirty surface. De-grease the applied surface with alcohol if necessary and do not clean the surface with bathroom/window cleaners as they usually leave a residue which will affect adhesion.
5. Press the cup all the way down, against the surface.
6. The suction cup may need to be "burped" periodically by pressing down on it to remove any air that may have seeped in.
Q- What material is used?
A- All my products are made from either PLA or PLA+. PLA+ is an enhanced version of Ordinary PLA. It has higher strength and better toughness, not easy to break. Made with starch raw materials derived from renewable plant resources, biodegradable and eco-friendly.
Q- Delivery.
A- At the moment Delivery is to the Mainland UK only. We use Royal mail First and second class postage. Postage costs are £5 for First class and £4 for second class. Free delivery is available on orders over £50.
